I had been looking for a car for about 2 months and was going back and forth between different makes like I started off with ’07 Camry. Test drove it but didn’t feel any kind of significant difference from Corolla 1998 which I was driving up until now. Maybe I was sick of Toyota or something, so I then started looking for Pontiac G6, it’s cheap and it gives good gas mileage.
I had rented Pontiac G6 in July when I went for my HoneyMoon and I knew it was a nice ride but then again I thought, it’s an american car and they don’t really have that good of a reputation. Then I stumbled on Nissan Sentra. Don’t ask me why the jump but I really like the shape of the ’08 Sentra, it’s bigger than corolla, it’s cheap and stylish.
While working out numbers at the dealership, I suddenly had this feeling that maybe I can bend the sales dude to sell me Altima ’07 for the same amount of monthly payments. Fortunately, I succeeded and now I am driving Nissan Altima 2007 2.5S. It’s a great ride, has some very cool features which are only available in luxury cars and is worth the price.
What I really like about Altima ’07 was that it comes with this feature called “Intelligent Key”. You do’t really have to take out your car keys to unlock you car, you just keep the intelligent key in your pocket or purse, go near the car and press a small squared button on the handle and the door is unlocked.
Like other cars, no need to turn your wrists to ignite the engine, Altima ’07 has “Push Button” ignition where you just have to press a button once you sit inside the car and the car starts itself, remember, the intelligent key is still in your pocket. If you take out the intelligent and you forget it inside the car while you try to lock the car from outside by pressing the same square button on the handle, it won’t lock and you will hear a chime alert.
As my car is brand new at the moment and I am still discovering little things everyday…. I guess I will talk about other nifty details later on…
